The only difference is that you can do it all from your PC and a Leighton degree can be earned regardless of location. Students complete assignments online from wherever they are and whenever they wish! Many people who take online courses also have full-time jobs, and find the convenience of online courses the best way to complete their degree.

Why spend up to 16 weeks in class when you can get the same college credits in either 6 or 8 weeks Terms? We’re committed to keeping your classes running and your education on track. While these online courses do not meet at any specific time or place, they do have weekly deadlines throughout the session. The content taught in a 6 or 8-week class offers the same amount of content that is taught over a 15-16 week regular semester at other universities.

If you are self-motivated, work well independently, and meet deadlines easily, then our flexible delivery of college courses using the latest technologies can put an associate’s degree at your fingertips. All courses cover the same content as traditional, on-campus classes offered in other universities. All our courses are taught by Leighton University faculty who have carefully been selected. Activities such as group study sessions or field trips may be a part of some courses.
International Students Transfer Credits
Applicants wishing to transfer in credits or diplomas earned at institutions located outside the United States must have their academic transcripts evaluated and certified by World Education Service (WES) or any organization recognized the by the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services, Inc.(NACES). Applicants will be assessed a fee by the certifying organization and should request that the report be sent directly to Leighton University.
