At Leighton University, we offer the Criminal Justice program at two levels. You can choose to pursue the 62 credit hour program that will earn you an Associate's of Science degree or the Bachelor's of Science degree, which is 120 credit hours. Each of these two programs follows a curriculum that is designed with input from employers, industry experts, and scholars. Students in the associate of science program are provided a strong foundational knowledge of the criminal justice system. All students seeking a Bachelor of Science degree in criminal justice participate in an internship experience. Throughout your journey in the study of criminal justice, you’ll gain the research, analytical, and communication skills required for working in complex criminal justice occupations.

Bachelor's of Science in Criminal Justice

Leighton University has designed the Online Bachelor's of Science in Criminal Justice degree program for working criminal justice professionals and other adults who wish to improve their knowledge and study in a flexible format. As a criminal justice program student, you will be provided with instruction in all parts of the criminal justice system.

Associate's of Science in Criminal Justice

Get stated and quickly leave this program with an understanding of the nature of a crime and the personnel, institutions, and processes that prevent or respond to crime. The curriculum covers crime and criminal behavior, law enforcement, courts, corrections, security, and crime scene investigation. It helps provide a solid foundation for further study or entry into a variety of criminal justice professions.
